These policies describe how Draftly — a product of EFactory — handles workplace messages you submit for tone enhancement in Slack and Microsoft Teams.
Draftly is a workplace tone engine, not a general file-upload product. We collect: (a) workspace identity from Slack or Microsoft Teams (such as user ID, workspace/team ID, and display name or email if the platform provides it); (b) the message text and tone you choose when you request a rewrite; (c) usage data needed for credits and subscriptions; (d) billing details processed by Stripe if you subscribe; and (e) information you send through our website contact form. We also collect limited technical logs (timestamps, request IDs, error codes) to operate and secure the service.
When you enhance a message, the original text, selected tone, and related metadata are sent to Draftly and to third-party AI providers solely to generate the rewrite. We do not use your message content to train Draftly models. We do not sell message content. You should not submit secrets, passwords, or data you are not authorized to share. Application logs are sanitized so they record metadata, not message bodies.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with processors who help us run Draftly: Slack and Microsoft Teams (so the bot can receive your request and return the rewrite), AI providers (to generate the rewrite), Stripe (billing), and hosting or infrastructure vendors. They may process data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
We store enhancement records (original text, enhanced text, tone, and status) so we can deliver history, support, and credit accounting. We keep this data only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your records through the contact page. Workspace uninstall or account cancellation may also trigger deletion according to our retention schedule.
We use HTTPS, least-privilege Slack and Teams scopes, input validation, and rate limiting. Credentials for platforms, billing, and AI providers are stored securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Draftly website may use essential cookies and browser local storage (for example, to remember language). We do not use advertising trackers on the marketing site. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect site preferences.
Draftly and its processors may store or process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards under applicable law.
Draftly is built for workplace communication. It is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and authorized by your organization to use Slack or Teams with Draftly.
These terms are an agreement between you and EFactory, which operates Draftly. By installing Draftly in Slack or Microsoft Teams, using the website, or requesting a rewrite, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Draftly is an AI tone engine for workplace chat. It rewrites messages you submit so they can sound clearer, more polite, more direct, or otherwise better aligned with a selected tone, while aiming to preserve meaning, urgency, and intent. Draftly is available as a Slack integration, with Microsoft Teams support in progress, and related website pages. It is not a general writing assistant, legal advisor, or HR tool.
Features, tones, credit limits, pricing, and platform coverage may change, pause, or contain errors. We may add or remove functionality with notice when reasonably possible. Use of Draftly is not a commitment that any feature will remain available indefinitely or that the service will meet a particular uptime or accuracy standard.
You access Draftly through your Slack or Teams workspace, not a separate Draftly password. Workspace admins control installation and removal. You are responsible for activity taken with your platform account and for following your employer’s policies. Notify us promptly if you believe your workspace access was used without authorization.
You agree not to use Draftly to:
You (or your organization) retain rights in the original message and in the rewrite Draftly returns. You grant EFactory a limited license to host, process, and store that content only to provide Draftly (including sending it to AI providers to generate the rewrite). We do not claim ownership of your messages. You are responsible for reviewing the rewrite before you send it.
Usage is measured in credits based on enhancement volume. The Free plan includes a monthly credit allowance and starter credits; no card is required to begin. Paid plans (such as Basic, Pro, and Unlimited) are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until canceled. Unused credits do not typically roll over unless we say otherwise. We may change pricing or credit rules with notice. Taxes may apply. Chargebacks or abuse may result in suspension.
You or a workspace admin may stop using Draftly by uninstalling the app or canceling a paid plan (typically at period end via Stripe). We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, if credits or billing fail, or if we discontinue the service. After termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete stored records according to the Privacy Policy.
Draftly is provided “as is.” AI rewrites can be incomplete, inaccurate, or the wrong tone for your situation. You must review every rewrite before sending. Draftly does not provide legal, compliance, or HR advice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, EFactory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a rewrite.
We may update these terms as Draftly evolves. We will post the new date on this page and, for material changes, provide notice through the service or the contact email we have for your workspace when we reasonably can. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised terms.
